Strid are a woman, a man and a guitar.  Jennie Kiff, Simon Allan and a Lowden F12.  

 

An acoustic duo with an impressive emotional range- from heart breaking, intimate confessionals to crowd pleasing favourites, all delivered with energy and an engaging stage presence.  Strid perform an eclectic mix of classic songs from the last fifty years driven by rich vocal harmonies, punchy guitar and an earthy sense of humour.

Strid news 10th May 2012

We're pleased to announce that we'll be playing at the Exchange Arts Centre in Keighley on Saturday 19th May, opening for  Al Leeming and Ben Greaves, aka Wheels.  The gig starts at 8pm and it's free to get in. This a lovely new venue with good acoustics, proper beer at reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere.

Our next outing will be the evening of Saturday 12th May at  Holmfirth Cricket Club as part of Holmfirth Folk Festival.
